Old Town Academy Featured at Barnes & Noble During Community Movie Day Celebration

Old Town Academy (OTA) was proud to be featured at Barnes & Noble this past Friday, March 27, 2026, as part of a vibrant and engaging community celebration. The event coincided with OTA’s Movie Day, bringing together students, families, and staff for a day centered on connection, fun, and community pride.

Following the bookstore feature, the OTA community gathered at UltraStar Cinemas to enjoy a special screening of Hoppers. The event created an exciting opportunity for students and families to come together outside of the classroom and share in a memorable experience. Laughter, excitement, and a strong sense of community were present throughout the day.

“It was an awesome time for our entire community,” said Devon Phillips, Executive Director and Principal of Old Town Academy. “Seeing our students and families come together, enjoy the movie, and simply have fun with one another is what makes OTA such a special place.”

The event was a tremendous success, with students and families expressing how much they enjoyed the experience. Old Town Academy continues to prioritize opportunities that strengthen relationships and build a connected, supportive school community.
